Vogue magazine features Clayworks
Vogue Magazine (UK) has declared Clayworks Clay Plasters as one of ‘The people, places, ideas and trends to watch now’.
This is an important and significant development for the ancient building material of clay, which still suffers an image problem in the mainstream architectural and design community. Recognition from world-class publications confirms that clay has been re-invented by Clayworks as a cool, contemporary and highly functional wall covering.
The Kate Moss designed house at The Lakes by Yoo, which is decorated in our Tonal Finish (Storm), has been selected to highlight the beauty and credibility of the clay plasters.
Vogue also cite the unconventional use of our clay plasters on the retail display furniture at the ‘inviting Maiyet Pop-up Store in London’. The designers behind this display specified our Cornish Clay Plasters on their display furniture because ‘they can be dissolved back to the natural materials from which it was formed’.
