Aēsop, Westfield

London

Designed by Studio Al-Jawad Pike, Aesop Westfield is conceived as a tranquil retreat from the bustling mall environment. The space takes inspiration from the ‘crinkle-crankle’ walls of the English countryside, celebrated for their graceful undulating forms and inherent structural strength.

The warm, earthy tones of the interior reflect the essence of traditional red brick-walled gardens. Clayworks’ Rustic clay plaster envelops the upper walls and ceiling, providing a rich, textured finish that enhances the sense of calm and intimacy. This tactile surface contrasts beautifully with sleek aluminium display shelves and the angular cast resin sinks crafted by Sabine Marcelis, achieving a seamless harmony between rustic warmth and modern sophistication.
