Massara

At Massara in New York City, the cuisine of Southern Italy’s Campania region is expressed through both the menu and the interiors. Designed by Sarah Carpenter & Studio, the restaurant combines natural materials – reclaimed timber, stone, marble and clay along with brass and bronze lighting fixtures sourced directly from Italy to create a warm, authentic setting.

A colour palette of terracotta, deep olive and warm timber, along with the soft, earthy tones of our Smooth and Rustic clay plaster bring a sense of southern Italy’s rural and coastal landscapes, enhancing the overall atmosphere.
