London

The former Hanover House is an imposing Grade II listed Victorian factory with a distinguished industrial past, once home to the production of historic British shoe polish brand Day & Martin. Now the headquarters of the International Transport Workers’ Federation, the building has undergone a phased interior refurbishment by Kyson that reinstates the historic open work floors while celebrating the Victorian craftsmanship of riveted ironwork, brickwork and vaulted ceilings.

The new material palette pays homage to the building’s heritage, utilising a natural palette of our smooth clay plaster and timber alongside steel-framed glazed screens.
