Roxwell Road

Gestalt Developments transformed this London flat with a strong focus on health, wellbeing, and sustainability, guided by building biology principles. A key element of the design was the use of Clayworks’ natural clay and Tadelakt plasters, chosen for their non-toxic, breathable qualities and ability to regulate indoor humidity. These mineral-based finishes help maintain healthy air quality while contributing to a calm, textured aesthetic, connecting the interior to nature and light.

Clayworks Tadelakt was used in wet areas, allowing the visual language of natural wall finishes to flow seamlessly from room to room. Its water-resistant, lightly polished surface complements the softer clay textures while providing durability where needed.

Within the master bedroom, our custom Rough with Smooth finish was used as a focal point behind the bedstead. This finish is then continued to the courtyard garden outside, creating a seamless flow between inside and out.
