Located in a historic 1924 shoe factory, Earthrise Studio, designed by Studio McW, reimagines the industrial space with natural materials that enhance both functionality and aesthetics. The design preserves original features like large steel windows and exposed concrete beams while introducing a bright, flexible interior.
Prioritising sustainability, the redesign utilises Clayworks clay plasters to create textured, matte walls that absorb toxins and promote a healthier living environment. The interplay of light with these natural finishes adds warmth, while materials like oak and reclaimed timber soften the industrial elements.
