A materially rich refurbishment and extension of a Grade II listed villa in Highgate, North London. Proctor and Shaw created a sanctuary for well-being with abundant light, natural materials, and exuberant landscaping.
Our smooth clay plaster harmonises with bespoke Douglas Fir joinery and resin-based terrazzo, balancing warmth and refinement. Beyond the visual and tactile richness, performance was central to the scheme: the home now operates at 57.6kWh/m²/yr – below the 2025 RIBA energy target, delivering both beauty and efficiency in equal measure.
