Massara

Designed by Sarah Carpenter & Studio, Massara’s colour palette draws inspiration from the rural and coastal landscapes of Campania, southern Italy, which inspire every dish. A considered blend of terracotta, deep olive and soft beige tones in smooth and rustic Clayworks finishes contribute to a space that feels both grounded and expressive.

Materiality plays a central role throughout. Clay plaster brings a quiet tactility to the two-level New York restaurant, softening light, improving acoustics and enhancing the overall atmosphere, while an incredible 15 foot long marble-clad counter allows diners to watch pizzas being prepared and the smoke and fire of open flame cooking beyond.
