CBRE’s Scottish headquarters in Glasgow sets a benchmark for sustainable and healthy workplace design. The first project in the UK to be certified under the latest version of the WELL Building Standard™, the office achieved Platinum status, reflecting CBRE’s deep commitment to employee wellbeing. The space combines sustainability credentials, including 100% locally sourced green energy and a BREEAM Excellent rating, with thoughtful design interventions to support physical and mental health. 

Running through the office is a Clayworks Rammed Earth Finish wall, referencing the natural soil stratification beneath Glasgow.  This striking architectural element celebrates the flagship office’s location, and connects employees and visitors with the heritage of the site. With a depth of around 10mm, our Rammed Earth Finish also contributes to the performance of the building fabric, softening acoustics and thermal variations whilst offering moisture control and breathability.
