Shepherd Neame has transformed The White Horse and Bower, a historic London pub dating back to 1816 and located just minutes from Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament. Designed by Emma Simmonds Design, the refurbishment celebrates craftsmanship and heritage, with every detail carefully considered – from hand-painted Lincrusta walls and bespoke stained glass to the meticulous restoration of the original tiled façade.
Clayworks Demi-Rustic clay plaster was applied throughout the bar area on both walls and ceilings. Its natural, earthy texture and warm tone complement the reclaimed oak bar, antique fittings, and heritage features, helping to create an inviting, tactile atmosphere that bridges old and new.
