Nina+Co have crafted a tactile interior committed to circularity for Ara, a new restaurant in East London. Transforming an empty shell into a layered, characterful space, the studio focused on reuse, responsible sourcing, and a deep respect for the materials used.

Clayworks Demi-Rustic clay plaster provides an earthy, grounding backdrop, pairing beautifully with reclaimed and foraged materials, from pendant lights woven from reeds to bespoke, modular furniture crafted from rescued elm wood.

Our clay plaster reflects founder Nina Woodcroft’s vision of Ara as a “borderless” space, both in food and design. Expressing the essence of earth architecture, it evokes a timeless universality that crosses cultures and offers an inherent, reassuring familiarity.
